Thanks to its long-standing ties to Hollywood, only Hamilton is capable of such deep collaboration with a cinematic master like Christopher Nolan. Following *Interstellar* (2014), *Tenet* (2020), and *Oppenheimer* (2023), Hamilton and Christopher Nolan have once again joined forces—this time in a new kind of collaboration. Inspired by *The Odyssey*—a new mythic action epic from Nolan and Universal Pictures (scheduled for release on July 17, 2026)—the timepiece was not featured in the film itself; instead, it was co-designed by Hamilton and Nolan as a tribute to the story.
The story of *The Odyssey* unfolds in an era predating mechanical timekeeping, presenting a unique creative challenge. Nolan collaborated with Hamilton to conceive a new timepiece that embodies the symbolic elements, period authenticity, and mythical atmosphere of this epic tale. The result is a limited-edition watch that translates the narrative into design language. The helmet and sword of the protagonist, Odysseus, served as the primary sources of inspiration, with both elements reflected in the designs of the dial and case back. Bronze was selected as the signature material; it not only echoes the weaponry and armor of the Bronze Age setting but also reinforces the connection to ancient craftsmanship.
The black brushed dial features a bronze-toned pattern inspired by the texture of the helmet, while the 12 o'clock marker draws from the rivet details found on the sword's scabbard. Bronze-colored, sword-shaped hands further evoke the weapon carried by Odysseus. Based on the Khaki Field Auto, the watch features a 42mm bronze case with a circular-brushed finish. It is paired with a brown grained leather strap accented by striking central stitching. The case back is crafted from titanium—offering both comfort and durability—and bears an engraving of Odysseus’s helmet alongside Christopher Nolan’s signature.
The watch comes with a replica of the Athena pin—a token given by his wife, Penelope, which Odysseus wears as a talisman in the film. Designed as a brooch, it allows the wearer to personally experience the allure of the movie. The packaging mirrors the watch's black and bronze color scheme, featuring a round metal shield emblem and a commemorative plaque, with the pin housed inside. Feel free to choose Omega Seamaster Planet Ocean clone watches, replica watches, and much more other clone watches.
